My Yellow Spongebob Pillow

I see my yellow Spongebob pillow. It is sitting next to a brown rabbit with a red bow. I can see that he has big blue eyes,a Hawaiian shirt and a big grin from ear to ear.

My thought about this is why does he have a big smile on his face? This is similar like the movie except in a larger version.I wonder how many people have the same Spongebob pillow like mine. This makes me realize that he is a happy kid because he smiles really big. I wonder why he is wearing a Hawaiian shirt instead of a regular shirt? This makes me think that if he comes in different colors other than yellow what would it be?I wonder how long did it take to make it? I wonder if I could? I would have to practice a lot.

Swimming Lessons

It was the last day of swimming lessons at Taylor High School. Meanwhile, our parents were standing on the concrete taking pictures of us.
Some of the little kids were jumping off the low diving board. some of the bigger kids were doing dives and stunts of the high diving board. "Wow", I thought to myself.
I was in line to jump off the high diving board. I am still a little bit scared when I jump off the high diving board.
Two people was in front of me. I let the person behind me cut. I was now the last person in line.
My brother was in front of me talking to his friends in front of him. Then he noticed me and said,"It's OK the be scared, just believe in yourself.,"he said.
I trusted him and said " Okay.," I know he was telling the truth but I still felt worried and scared.
Then it was my brother's turn. I said good luck to him. I saw him climb up the ladder and walk across the board. Then he did an amazing running dive! I thought to myself "Someday I'm going to do that, once I learn how to do a dive.,"
Then it was my turn. I grabbed onto the green rough ladder and walked across the board. I looked down and almost fell. My heart was pounding loud and hard. I could almost hear it pounding. I closed my eyes and leaped down. "SPLASH!!!" I was in the water trying to get up. I was swimming back to the concrete. My heart was still beating.
It felt really cold when I got out of the water because it was pretty cold. I didn't do anymore jumps on the high diving board. Afterwards,I went to the low diving board and a couple of jumps.
Then we had to go home. We said good-bye to our teachers and took pictures with our old teachers. In fact, we took a lot of pictures. I had a pass to go to the next level, level 3. I can't wait! Our swim teachers gave us some candy. Then we had to say our last good-bye. I can't wait until next summer!

Jamestown,Virginia

In social studies we were learning about Jamestown,Virginia. We were learning lots of interesting facts. The English settlers from England came to Jamestown. They were supposed to be looking for gold, but when they got there they only saw green swampy land and Powhatan Indians .

They were not friendly to each other. The English settlers had to barter and work cooperatively with each other.

John Smith was the person in charge for the English settlers. Pocahontas was the daughter of Chief Powhatan.

The English settlers made a wooden fort that was shaped like a triangle. One day the Powhatan Indians caught John Smith on their land. The Powhatan Indians got mad. The Powhatan Indians made a trial and was going to cut his head off. Pocahontas heard the sound of the drums and run as fast as she could to see what was going on. When she got there she saw John's face. Just as the person was about to cut his head off she ran to him and put her head on his head. The Chief Powhatan was surprised. He told her to get off. she wouldn't listen. Then finally he said to the Indians that he was free. That's when Pocahontas met John Rolfe and got married.

It lead 8 years of peace between the Powhatan Indians and the English settlers. Pocahontas,John Rolfe and their son Thomas went to England. When they were ready to go back to Virginia Pocahontas got smallpox and died. This was the best subject I ever had in social studies.
